In this episode we discuss: Hermes Trismegistus, reincarnation, revenge, religion, dealing with guilt in the social media era, sacrifice, lower back pain, and how to cook.
Otávio asks… (3:07)
– By now you must have read a lot about Hermes Trismegistus. What are your thoughts on him?
– What do you know about reincarnation?
What happens when you die? What are your views on the afterlife?
Drew asks… (13:22)
Hey Uncle Vic, What are your thoughts regarding the afterlife? I have recently been reading the Kybalion and it seems we may have an infinite number of lives. If this is true, what can a man do in this life to ensure a better life in the next? Will our sins and vices carry with us into eternity?
In the 2nd century CE, Appian wrote in his Roman History that the Teutons had no fear of death because they hoped to be reborn.
Valhalla is where you go when you die and are born again, over and over, to fight a new battle.
- ‘What kind of a dream is it,' said Óðinn,
- in which just before daybreak,
- I thought I cleared Valhǫll,
- for coming of slain men?
- I waked the Einherjar,
- bade valkyries rise up,
- to strew the bench,
- and scour the beakers,
- wine to carry,
- as for a king's coming,
- here to me I expect
- heroes' coming from the world,
- certain great ones,
- so glad is my heart (wiki)
Anthony asks… (18:26)
Victor how do you deal with enemies or frenemies. Also what do you do about haters.
Tobias asks… (20:14)
How to come up with a great company or brand name?
Silas asks… (20:46)
How to deal with guilt/fear/shame of past in the age of social media
Ben asks… (22:25)
Uncle Vic, For someone who has no idea how to cook never cooked in his life has only eaten fast food, how do I learn how to cook and especially cook the carnivore diet. I have no idea about things like stoves pans and grills where can I get a carnivore diet cooking 101.
Al asks… (23:27)
Hey Vic, First of all thank you for this podcast. The amount of insights I have had about the reality that we live in has been astonishing.
My question ever since I was young I have had a submissive momma’s boy nature to myself, how to I evict this inner wussy part of me and get in touch with my masculine constantly.
Secondly, I have struggled with get tongue tied while talking all my life, I have gone to doctors and even a speech therapist and they all say I don’t have a physical tongue tie. However it comes out here and again and i am really insecure about it. Also what can you recommend to develop a deeper voice.
Michael asks… (25:09)
1. What is the meaning of sacrifice?
2. How do you know whether or not a sacrifice is worth making?
Steven asks… (26:48)
Hello Vic, what do you recommend for chronic back pain??
Stretching, low inflammation diet, proper posture, and a standing desk.
JTM asks… (28:16)
You’ve said that maybe 2% of people who follow the blog’s path succeed in achieving freedom. How many of those that copywrite B&D at first become successful, compared to those who write their own original content from the start? I know you advise copywriting the work of others at first but it makes me feel like a fraud.
Jake asks… (29:54)
Can you eat too much on the carnivore diet? Or will your body tell you to stop? I am 6’4″ 210lbs, probably 15-18 percent body fat, and I find myself eating 3 or more pounds of fatty ribeye and strip steaks a day as well as cheese, eggs, or bacon as a side. I am not as lean as I once was. Most carnivore forums say its impossible to overeat on this diet. Should I cut back even if I am hungry?
Alex asks… (30:48)
Victor, Do you actually need to burn 3,500 calories to lose a pound of fat, or is this a hoax? Is losing fat just about keeping insulin low by eliminating carbohydrates? Also, can I eat all the meat I want and still lose fat, or can eating too much lead to weight gain because of caloric surplus?
Bill asks… (31:08)
What lessons have you learnt from your Grandfather(s)?
Joe asks… (31:37)
Old Saint Vic: Merry Christmas and love the beard. Can you talk a bit about your daily schedule and how you are able to fit stuff in and do you plan? Also how do you bless your food?
Uncle Vic's Long Lost Nephew asks… (32:53)
The media shows modern couples arguing all the time.
1. Is this normal behavior?
2. When are arguments appropriate?
My girlfriend and I hardly ever argue, but she’s Asian.
Don asks… (33:56)
I have a cousin who is finishing up their Maths degree at university. She has been offered a job in a bank with a starting salary of £60,000 in London, England. As far as I know, she has to agree to work 10-12 hours per day and has to sign a contract to stay with the company for X amount of years. Supposedly after 3-4 years, her salary rises to 100K, then after 15 years, she could earn up to 300K. What are your views on this, do you believe that people taking this route- lured in by a nice pay check, are signing themselves to slavery?
Ramer asks… (35:03)
I know you don’t use your smart phone much at all but I do have a question regarding it. It seems as though when I am doing my best work, women who could be miles and miles away from me always seem to text me. However, if I am not doing much at all, my phone stays silent. Has this ever happened to you? Is there some sort of energy/aura that we cast out while doing our great work? I know a lot of the greats say to chase the money and then the women will come, but how do they sense this? It is definitely one of the best feelings, and wanted to get your thoughts on this magnetism of sorts.
Joel asks… (35:42)
Hey Vic, I’m curious about your thoughts on overtraining. I feel so great from not masturbating and eating right that I am thinking of taking no rest days while doing a push, pull, legs split (about an hour a day) with no rest days ever. Is overtraining something that happens to regular people who eat carbs and masturbate all day or is it something to be wary of for us alpha males.
Joseph asks… (36:42)
What are the best businesses/industries to get into today in order to make a good amount of money?
Horea asks… (38:02)
Hello Victor, I am thinking of starting a blog which would use quite a few academic papers as references. How does copyright infringement apply in this case? Is it enough to cite a persons finding or do I have to ask permission before including on my blog? Also, if I have to use certain statistical figures from their academic papers, do I have to do anything more than reference them? I noticed you quoted other blogs in some of your previous articles, did you have to get their consent to do that?
Do you happen to know a good book/ blog that covers exactly what you can do and cannot do in a blog? I am trying to have everything figured out before I write anything down.
Stan asks… (38:46)
What podcasts do you recommend? Do you listen to Joe Rogan’s Podcast much and is their any particular episodes you recommend?
Ron asks… (40:18)
Wanted to ask if it's a good idea to start a website right away or to set the blog up as a business first as a sole proprietor or LLC ect then start the website? Want to be sure I do things in the correct order. Secondly, is there a way to legally convert a business from a sole proprietor into LLC? Thank you for doing what you do.
Rohan asks… (40:59)
Hi Victor. I recently heard from someone’s Youtube channel that the FDA allows there to be maggots in tomato sauce cans, rat hairs in peanut butter, insect parts in cinnamon, and many more other disgusting things. Why would they knowingly pollute and ruin our food like this? What benefit does this serve the FDA? Why would anyone even support the FDA? This seems absolutely pure evil on the FDA’s part. Now that I think about it, no wonder experts say the carnivore diet isn’t good. They want us to eat their garbage while keeping us away from real nutrition.
What’s the deal with wisdom teeth? Dentists say you need to get them removed when they grow in. However, back in the day, I don’t think our ancestors pulled out their teeth intentionally. Why is it now a modern day practice to get your teeth pulled out? Can you shed some light on this? Thank You!
This is what happens when you “food” is mass produced in a factory.
Bill asks… (43:08)
Do you believe, that throughout human evolution, humans spent the majority of their time in Ketosis?
What’s the deal with exogenous ketones and supplements such as MCT Oil?
Joseph asks… (44:34)
What is the best way to save money?
How much money is necessary to live well in this world?
Divan asks… (45:35)
Hi Vic, What would you do if you had more money than you could possibly ever spend?
Joseph asks… (45:49)
What are your views on Steve Reeves? Do you believe that a physique like his can be built naturally? Also he owned cattle ranches which I found interesting.
The WC Blog asks… (46:24)
Hey Vic, What’s your thoughts on Porridge as a staple breakfast?
Peasant breakfast. Royalty eats steak.
Karl asks… (46:40)
Vic, btw, just wondering, do you follow any specific practices to keep body inflammation low? I don’t have bleeding colitis or anything extreme but I often feel like my insides are not as non-inflamed as they should be, are you big on turmeric or any other anti-inflammatory?
Do you think we made a mistake in trying to foist our values upon the rest of the world? In that regard, I’d like to get your views on Ann Coulter who’s pretty brave and reasonable, smart, especially for a woman, redpilled, but she keeps saying we ought to kill foreign leaders and convert the people to christianity. I think this is dumb and the root of our problems?
Also were the vikings the most impressive human race ever? The stories sound amazing, 7 ft giants were regularly seen, blue eyes, muscular, fat-fed, even women were over 6 ft tall and powerful, man, I feel a rush of adrenaline just thinking about people like that. Even today all the strongest men like Hafthor Bjornsson are mighty swedes!
How did the “shadow men” turn this mightiest race into the most cucked country on earth? It boggles the mind, what did they do? Chemical poisoning? Psychological brainwashing? tbh the idea of psych brainwashing sounds like bull but is it really that powerful? How could you realistically use psychology to get a group of people to piss on their ancestors. I feel like “psych brainwashing” is nonsense and the real problem is the estrogenizing chemicals.
German asks… (50:02)
Great podcast Victor. What is your opinion on scientific studies? I don’t hear you mention them as evidence.
NewEmpire asks… (51:19)
Vic, have you ever been to Australia?
Unfortunately we have the same problems plagued by the west but there are pockets of areas that are real nice.I have moved to a rural area that is very traditional and 98% white – its almost like going back to the 1950’s – the people in my neighbourhood are fantastic. They aren’t perfect but overall I find the community I live in to be the best I’ve seen in a long time. They are largely farmers and country folk with strong Christian values.
While I am not Christian, there sure is a spirit around here that I admire – people help one another, know about animals, know about the land and volunteer within the community a lot. There are kids everywhere.. people are having a lot of kids here and the women seem to be more natural – they have been exposed to the same feminist brainwashing as other girls but they seem to have bought it less due to their family culture and connection to the land/farming.
In fact i’m starting my family here and its going to be a BIG one. I wont post where I am – I don’t want the hordes to come and ruin it but I sure do think you could find a nice German/English (Australian) girl here and your US $ would go further. Have you ever considered checking out Australia as an alternative or just for fun..?
Sebastian asks… (52:02)
What’s your take on a high protein carnivore diet instead of an high fat carnivore diet to get glucose via gluconeogenesis. I personally feel better eating high protein than high fat. High fat makes me tired and lethargic. High protein fires me up.
R.H, asks… (52:33)
Why does Hollywood produce so many heroes? What is the conspiracy behind that?
Do you think the U.S. is the biggest trouble-maker on the world stage. Honestly, would the world be better off without the U.S.?
Johnny asks… (53:35)
How do you spot a slut?
Scott asks… (54:39)
Vic, Here is a good one for you. How should I deal with copycats ripping off my content on my blog? Your the most ripped of blogger ever, should I be flattered or pissed?
Dan asks… (55:03)
Is anonymity a sign of cowardice?
Junior asks… (56:04)
Vic, you said you have been spending time with family around the country lately. Good for you, family is very important, and it is something that is so neglected. People will look at you as crazy for wanting to fly around the country to spend time with your blood. Can you give us some takeaways with spending time with family? Yes, older people tend to be more set in their ways, but have you been able to educate some younger relatives? Younger people are always open to new ideas and are looking for those ideas.
RobertV asks… (56:56)
Anyway, my question this week is about sex. I’m 28 and I’ve only had sex with two women. We live in a culture where people boast about their numbers all the time. This makes me feel like shit. Why am I so envious? Am I really missing out on much?
It might sound a bit “beta male” but I prefer having sex with women who i trust. I have no genuine desire for casual sex. But my culture tells me this is wrong. People my age build their social lives around hunting for casual sex through Tinder and at nightclubs.
Joe asks… (58:35)
Are there any pills or natural things you can do to get taller? More height always helps.
Anonymoose asks… (58:48)
Vic, when is it acceptable to punch someone in the jaw?
Captain Obvious asks… (59:22)
Killer podcast. Highlight of my week. My questions:
you said you put the money you earn back into the business. Since you don’t pay for advertising, what exactly do you put the money into? (I’m looking for ideas with my business).
what do you think of this idea (free advice) — get all your podcast episodes transcribed (pretty cheap to do that). Edit it and create a book out of it called ASK UNCLE VIC. I think the book would sell like crazy. I’d buy a copy. Create a new volume after the 10th or 15th episode. So it can be a series.
what do you say to the idea that red meat makes a person’s body acidic (an acidic body is likely to develop cancer)?
Hozzy asks… (1:00:53)
Vic, Who is Q?
Until next time.
