Recently, the Dons and Bosses met in Las Vegas for a mastermind.
We called it the Be a Boss seminar, but that was the wrong name.
The right name is the New World Ronin Mastermind because that's what it was. A mastermind session between people who have chosen to go their own way in life, the ronin.
A ronin is a wandering soul without a master. A New World Ronin has chosen to become both the wanderer and the master.
It's a lonely path, you think, until you meet other people who are on the same journey as you. Then it doesn't feel so lonely. In fact, it starts to feel normal and good.
It feels weird to go back home to mom, dad and grandpa Joe who tell you you can't do it when you've just been at a seminar where everyone told you you can do it, and they meant it.
That's why it's so important to meet with and make friendships with other ronin on the journey to greatness.
They'll be there to give you a helping hand when mom, dad and grandpa Joe are there to tell you what you can't do and how you'd better do it their way, the same way that got them nowhere.
Mom, dad and grandpa Joe aren't bad people, they just don't know. They don't know what's possible because no one ever taught them.
They came from a different world, a world before we had the god of internet.
With the god of internet, you can literally create the life you want to live and there are few limits, and most of which are imaginary.
Like I told the men at the seminar, do not create realistic boundaries like mom, dad and grandpa Joe told you to do.
CREATE UNREALISTIC BOUNDARIES.
It has proven itself to me countless times that whatever you think is what happens. If you think you are bound by realism and reality, you will be.
If you know that reality will bend to your will just as quick as Destiny will bend to your will, well, then all you need to do at that point is develop the skill that pays the bills. And that's the easy part.
The hard part is letting go of insecurity, fear, and perceived limits.
All must be banished to become your true character. Worrying about the thoughts of others is worse than pointless, it's limiting.
Never worry about what other people think, because here's the really real reality, you never know what other people think.
You only think you know what other people think, but you're not in anyone else's head, only your own. You only know what you think.
Since you think you know what they think, all you do is project your fears and insecurities onto them and they pick up the vibe and run with it.
Instead of thinking everyone is negative and everyone is against you, which is projected onto your family and friends who pick up the vibe and run with it, do this instead:
Think everyone in your life is on board with you because you are so confident that you are incapable of failing.
Like Sun Tzu said, never fight a battle you haven't already won in your mind. After you've won it in your mind, the only foe who can defeat you is yourself.
The only way you defeat yourself is by allowing yourself to be defeated by giving up and listening to the “opinions” of others who aren't on the same path as you, and therefore know nothing about your situation.
You should be deaf, dumb and blind to those people, the ghosts of the game.
The only people who matter are the people who are on the same journey as you or the people who are where you want to be.
Everyone else is a ghost and should be ignored (when it comes to any life or business advice).
Spend time with mentors or colleagues, never waste precious time with energy vampires who say you can't, can't, can't.
Those people forget the very first rule…
WALK THE WALK BEFORE YOU TALK THE TALK.
Pardon my french, but if you never walked the walk, your advice means shit.
Those who walk the walk can give you the talk, those who don't walk the walk should be considered only an annoyance, not a real source of advice or knowledge.
It's the walkers who take action and move forward who count. Men like this:
To meet the great men and women who walk the walk before they talk the talk, be sure to attend the next New World Ronin Mastermind, coming soon to a city near you.
In the meantime, New World Ronin holds the basics of all of the teachings of success.
It is important to buy it, read it and study because in that book is the answer, hidden in plain sight.
Napoleon Hill always said he found it best to not say everything but to leave a little to the reader's imagination.
I say it like this, a book is a black & white outline, it's up to the reader to paint the colors himself.
All of the knowledge in the world means nothing if you don't act on it.
The teeny-tiniest action beats a head full of knowledge if the head full of knowledge never makes a move forward.
Don't you know the #1 rule of the New World Ronin?
The #1 rule of the New World Ronin is follow the way of always moving forward.
When you do, good things happen to you.
